Hurrah! Spring is here!!!
Well, I am almost through the first year of my doctoral program in Physical Therapy... and while I miss dancing (and teaching dance) on a regular basis, I am so fortunate to have been able to perform last November with Becky Radway Dance Projects and to teach and perform occasionally around town... (But alas, I miss social dancing)!
Recently, Felix and I had another WONDERFUL time trying out/performing our latest piece for "Mohonk Thinks You Can Dance" weekend. Hosted by the amazingly talented Jeni Breen, Candace Woodward-Clough, and Gene Eagle, we were able to test out some new moves while enjoying a mini vacation.
Additionally, Felix and I spent another fun Saturday teaching for New York University's Intercollegiate Swing Exchange (NISE)! We've been doing this for several years now and each year it gets more exciting and a whole lot more involved. The effort accomplished by the NYU swing club to make this event happen so smoothly is awe inspiring! Sharing our love for lindy hop with the next talented and enthusiastic generation is such a joy!!!!
